Founded in 2015, Guru Academy is a registered private tutoring body teaching students in 11 plus, GCSE and A-level subjects. We pride ourselves on our rigorous teaching, represented in our excellent exam results:

 

With specialist tutors in Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning English, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and the 3 Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), we are equipped to deliver the very best results for your child. Group and individual sessions are available depending on the subject.

 

 

Our aim is to educate students to unlock their potential and attain the best results they possibly can. We have an established track record for doing just that. Our tutors have taught in top UK schools and universities with experience teaching for at least 6 years. 

 

Our teaching, along with the syllabus encourages the prevention of strain during the exams and hopes to relieve any unnecessary anxiety that students may experience. We wholeheartedly believe that the secret to success in the 11 plus examinations, to be the quality of the work one does rather than the quantity. Due to this reason, our material and coaching are considered to be free of stress as well as exceedingly effective.

 

We execute precise lesson plans, adjusting the teaching approach to suit the age and interests of every student. Spot tests, topic tests and mock examinations are conducted regularly, while homework assignments are marked quickly with detailed constructive feedback. We source material beyond the scope of the syllabus to further students' understanding. As well as teaching, GURU Academy also provides advice to parents of 11 plus appearing children to offer an insight into the school that would be most suitable to the child.
