As part of the course, candidates will study pure Maths along with statistics and mechanics. Students often take three question papers. A combination of calculator and non-calculator questions are used.

An A level English Literature course covers a variety of modern and historical Prose, Poetry and Drama texts. There is also a Non-Exam Assessment (NEA), consisting of an essay or essays on a chosen text.
